Bodmin Beacon

 Father Christmas Sleigh

Each December we take our sleigh around the streets of Bodmin collecting for Lions & other charities.
We try to be onsite just before Six & finish by Eight.

BODMIN LIONS would love you to add them to your donation

Have a good look around, old purses, piggy banks, down the back of the chair

Update October 10th 2017

It might not feel like it but December is coming, and so is the Bodmin Lions' Father Christmas Sleigh.

As usual we will be doing our best to visit all parts of the town and our planned route is below.

On Monday 4th we will stop at the town end of Wallace Road to welcome you from nearby areas impossible to visit individually.
On Tuesday 12th we will do the same at Hillside Park, stopping at 6.00 on the lower road near the garages.

As always we will do our best but sometimes the weather or other problems arise.

Also our friends at ASDA will welcome us all on the Saturdays between 12.00 and 4.00.

Please come and see us, it's free although we welcome all donations.
We happily accept all your old pound coins too!

All Lions collectors are clearly identifiable, and every penny goes to charities.
Come and join us.

Sleigh Report & Presentation To Cornwall Hospice Care

Bodmin Lions Christmas Sleigh Success.

The Lions are delighted to report another record success in December.

Santa and his Sleigh managed to find ways around the road works to visit all the familiar streets as well as one or two new places

The people of Bodmin responded with their usual generosity and filled the collection buckets with no less than £ 6748.

This helps the Lions to continue supporting lots of good causes as well as making a major donation to Cornwall Hospice Care.

Our picture shows Lion President Kevin presenting a cheque for £4000 to Lindsey Opie,Tamsin Thomas and Tracey Hawley.

We are very grateful to all our supporters including Bodmin Steel, ASDA and Barclays Bank.

Most of all, thank you Bodmin.

Sleigh update Thur 22nd Dec 2016
