Christmas sleigh starts tonight
Our collectors will have
reflective jackets, Lions ID & be collecting in covered buckets, any
doubts ask the sleigh driver.
We try our best to keep to the order shown above but may swop street
order within any night.
As well as our normal Christmas efforts
around the town we were pleased to do a bit more.
A local business donated a large sum to the Foodbank to buy food
at ASDA where our sleigh was collecting. Father Christmas was pleased to
help with the handover.
Our Rotarians needed help with to hand out presents for a childrens
party, so of course the Lion in Red filled the gap.
Meanwhile our sleigh continued to visit all possible homes in the town,
bringing lots of joy and collecting in excess of £6000, to help in 2023.
When A1 Tyres donated £500 of food at ASDA to
the Food bank, Father Christmas was happy to leave the Lions' sleigh to
assist.
